HIGH POINT – The American Dwelling Furnishings Alliance has elected Andy Bray, president of Vanguard Furnishings, as its new chairman of the board of administrators for 2025. Bray was chosen throughout AHFA’s annual assembly and CEO convention final month in California.
Becoming a member of Bray on the manager committee are Carolyn Hippel, Hooker Furnishings, first vice chair; and Melinda Whittington, LaZ Boy Inc., second vice chair. Nathan Cressman of Magnuson Dwelling continues as quick previous chairman of the manager committee.
Bray is the second technology of Vanguard management to function chairman of the AHFA board. His father, John Bray, served as chair in 2010.
Executives named to new three-year phrases on the AHFA board embody Jessie Flanders, Lloyd Flanders Inds. Fred Henges, Riverside Furnishings; and Derek Schmidt, Flex Metal Indus.
Serving on the board with phrases expiring on the finish of 2026 are Doug Bassett, Vaughan Bassett; Chad Gore, Leggett & Platt; Jeremy Hoff, Hooker Furnishings; Travis Wagner, Ashley Furnishings Indus. and Mark Weber, Southern Movement.
Board members whose phrases expire on the finish of 2025 embody Edward Audie, Stickley Furnishings; Mark Franklin, Franklin Furnishings; Sean O’Connor, Common Furnishings; Jason Porter, Hickory Springs; Veronica Schnitzius, American Leather-based; Luke Simpson, Durham Furnishings; and Henry Vander Minden IV, Telescope Informal Furnishings.
