NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA — The Sagrada Chair by Mobilo Obtained the 2024 Edward Hamson Design Award throughout Contemporary Design GroupThe annual convention is right here.
The Sagrada Chair was impressed by natural shapes and architectural parts paying homage to Antoni Gaudi’s Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. The piece is made out of FSC-certified wooden, making certain that the fabric is harvested responsibly from well-managed forests.
For each Sagrada chair bought, a tree is planted, serving to offset the carbon footprint of manufacturing and transportation. Customers obtain a tree certificates containing a QR containing the precise location of the tree.

There was a tie between first runner-up 546 Bbar by Skovby, designed by Per Haansbaek. and Lilly Media + Storage by Mobicon, designed by Matthew Selme. Third runner-up went to Copeland Furnishings’s Butterfly Desk, designed by the Copeland Design Workforce. The finalists (listed in alphabetical order) had been: Bury Seating by Ellerson, Parts Storage + Media by BDI, Goodwish Chair by Thierry Coggin, Julian Eating Desk by Hippe, Low Seating by LK Hedgeley, Hyperlink Workplace by BDI, Aware Setting by Natozzi. The Edward Hamson Design Award acknowledges producers who produce excellent and authentic furnishings designs. A panel of nameless judges, together with CDG retailer members, evaluated the nominees on originality, creativity, client attraction, use of supplies, performance, and manufacturing course of.
